God is discipling the nations.

HE intends to do much of it through business.

Through what He has asked you to build —
far more than through what He has asked you to give.

Through what He has asked you to build —

MATTHEW 28:19

The Great Commission is bigger than you were told.

Most of us were taught that the Gospel is about saving souls. It is — and it is far more. Jesus said “make disciples of all nations.” Nations are economies, industries, institutions,

ECONOMIES

INDUSTRIES

INSTITUTIONS

SYSTEMS

Most of those are built by businesses.

REVELATION 21:24, 26

We know how the story ends.

“The kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it… the glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it.”

John saw every nation’s best work offered to the King of Kings. We can know this is our work because Scripture shows us its fulfillment.

What will your industry bring?

Business isn’t just the funding arm of the Kingdom. It’s a lynchpin.

For generations, business leaders have been cast as the people who pay for ministry. God cast you as the people who build what nations run on.

CAST AS

The ones who fund the mission

CALLED AS

The ones who built it

The hard questions

already have answers.

Why does your company exist? Whom does it serve? How should you treat a competitor, an employee, a dollar of profit? The world answers with self-interest. He answers with abundance: serve, heal, steward. Profit still matters, but it’s the fruit, not the point.

HIS PLAYBOOK

  • A company exists to serve and to heal; returns are the fruit.

  • Use your strength to serve; power is a stewardship.

  • Competitors can be collaborators when, together, you transform the lives of the customers you both serve.

  • Value is abundant: a business can bless everyone it touches.

  • Customers are neighbors to serve.

  • People are change-bearers to form.

  • Generational horizons

THE WORLD’S PLAYBOOK

  • A company exists to maximize shareholder return.

  • Use every source of power to extract advantage.

  • Competitors are rivals to defeat.

  • Value is scarce: one party’s gains is another’s loss.

  • Customers are markets to capture

  • People are costs to minimize.

  • Quarterly horizons

Nations are discipled not by force, but by wisdom built into the systems people live by.

And there’s more. He doesn’t hand you the playbook and walk away.

He partners with you, granting heaven’s wisdom to run it.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all… and it will be given to you.”
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all… and it will be given to you.”
And heaven’s wisdom doesn’t just win the moral argument. It wins. God’s ways often look wrong to the natural mind: share the value, take the long view, serve the customer, develop the people. Yet “the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom.” When a business runs His playbook, it works. The traditions of men aren’t just less moral. They’re less effective.

1. BUILD IT IN

Heaven’s wisdom is embedded in how a business accurate runs: its incentives, its P&L, its culture, its time horizon.

2. IT OUTPERFORMS

The results make a case. Trust compounds, people flourish, value multiplies. The older playbook was leaving it on the table.

3. IT BECOMES NORMAL

Others copy what works. When God’s way starts to feel normal in an industry, part of a nation has been discipled.

That’s what it means for wisdom to become infrastructure.

You and God are already a team. Here’s how I can join it.

I can help you change the world.

Starting with what you’ve built.

Dr. Greg Leman – Author · Workshop leader · Consultant

I spent my career inside the system: as a chemical engineer, an R&D leader, a business leader for highly innovative product lines, and founder of Baylor’s Technology Entrepreneurship Program. Across decades of work in the United States, Europe, Asia and Africa, I’ve helped leaders discover that their businesses can serve God’s will — and be built His way.

You can deepen your understanding, embrace your calling, and fulfill your Kingdom assignment.

Knowing God’s will for your venture is half the assignment. The other half is pursuing it His way

UNDERSTAND – Through Books

Go deeper into God’s will — the discipling of nations and the restoration of all things — and His ways, which often run against the standard playbook.

EMBRACE – Business by Design (8 week course)

See how your venture already serves His will, then design its strategy and economics His way.

FULFILL – Consulting

Draw upon my experience building systems for sustained innovation that keep God’s will and His ways together as you grow

A PERSONAL NOTE

While finishing The Malachi Moment, I sensed that something beneath the mission of the Church had not yet been named. Then a familiar saying came to me with a Holy Spirit twist. Not “Where there’s a will, there’s a way,” but:

God has a will — and He has a way. And His way always reflects His heart.

That unsettled me. It is entirely possible to pursue the will of God while quietly abandoning the way of God.

It felt like standing on the rim of a great canyon as the sun went down. Nothing in the landscape changed. But as the light flooded in, I could finally see where the passages opened and where the shadows hid danger. That light was His affection: His tenderness toward all He has made, every creature,

Cold logic can map the terrain. Only love can find the way through.

It’s time to change the world.
